Editorial policy
Radiant Music Journal aims to make music subjects clear, engaging and fair. We explain our reasoning, separate fact from interpretation and correct the record when we get something wrong.
Accuracy and context
We check factual claims against suitable sources and take care with names, terminology and historical context. When a subject is disputed or an interpretation is open to debate, we make that distinction clear rather than presenting one reading as settled fact.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for relevance to readers, not in exchange for payment or gifts. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage or a favourable opinion, and contributors should disclose relevant conflicts to the editor.
Corrections
If you spot an error, please use the Contact page and include the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, with an explanatory note when a change significantly affects meaning.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid placements and other partner material are labelled clearly so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where that is the case, we identify them as AI-generated.
Curiosity is a good way in.
You do not need a specialist vocabulary to listen closely. Start with what you hear, try a new angle, and stay open to being surprised.
